Care and Maintenance
Summer jackets and other jackets alike are all relatively low maintenance, however, there will come a time where your garment needs to be washed and cared for. here are a few generalised do’s and don’ts to make sure you keep your jackets looking their best.
Wash cold if possible, if not objective for a low temperature. fabrics such as cotton and wool can be prone to shrinkage so avoid hot washing whatsoever costs!
Read the instructions, if it says dry clean only and don’t tumble dry – abide by these rules.
Wash jackets inside out to avoid any damage to graphics, prints of the exterior of the garment.
Wash with similar colours to avoid any possible colour bleeding.
Stretch out any heavy creases and folds when your jacket leaves the wash, this will help it return to its natural form.
Do not use an iron if your jacket is made from synthetic material! This will burn the fabric.
Try not to dry in direct sunlight, too much of this can rapidly fade any colour and design.
