Without a shadow of a doubt, the Yeezy 451 is the most mysterious sneaker that Kanye has worked on. first teased on Twitter all the way back in August 2018, the unashamedly chunky shoe has been sitting in the concept stage for nearly two years, and now, we’re getting a look at one of the samples that may or may not be in the works.
Leaked by Yeezy Mafia, the 451 is the brainchild of legendary footwear designer Steven Smith who also serviced other icons such as the Reebok Instapump Fury. Seen here with a light grey Primeknit upper, five 3M stripes run across the lateral and medial side panels, while a single black stroke shoots vertically down the centre of the shoe in an eye-catching manner.
Down below, you’ll find the much-discussed sharktooth midsole that might be infused with adidas improve tech, and rounding it all off is black taping at the toebox that’s reminiscent of the Yeezy 700 MNVN line.
