After being named “World’s hottest brand” by the 2021 Lyst index, Balenciaga is keen to get its 2021 off to a similar start. carrying on with its yearly Chinese new year traditions, Balenciaga is set to launch a new selection celebrating the upcoming year of the tiger.
The collection itself is large and consists of 57 distinct pieces including garments, footwear and accessories. All the pieces arrive with Balenciaga’s distinctive interpretation courtesy of Demna.

From the get-go, our attention is right away drawn to the tiger print pieces in that collection that quite literally personify the Chinese new year theme. A zipped fleece, a down button t-shirt and a cropped sweater all come dressed in vibrant orange and black hues.
Elsewhere among the bunch, we see a refreshed take on vital pieces with a new tiger logo embroidery featured on hoodies, long sleeve T-Shirts, tees and caps. Rounding out the bunch, we see fluffy slides, a new runner trainer and a small hourglass bag.
